How to Buy CASHCAT on Robinhood: All Three Routes Compared
: You can buy it inside the Robinhood app, on an exchange, or on-chain. They're not the same thing.

Most memecoins have exactly one way in — find the contract, connect a wallet, swap. CASHCAT has three, including one inside a regulated US brokerage app, which is close to unheard of for a token like this.
That's convenient and also confusing, because the three routes get you meaningfully different things. Here's the whole picture.
What it actually is
CASHCAT is a memecoin on Robinhood Chain, and the name isn't a coincidence. Before Robinhood was called Robinhood, its founders called the project CashCat. The token revives a genuine piece of the company's own history rather than borrowing an internet meme, which is a better origin story than most tokens manage.
It is not an official Robinhood product. The project describes itself as a community effort — their own phrasing is "fan fiction with a ticker" — and states plainly that the token has no intrinsic value or expected return. Worth respecting that they say so.
It went vertical on 8 July after Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev posted that the chain works well for memes and followed the token's account. It rose more than 1,700%, then fell over 90% from a peak above $170 million as early holders sold into the demand. It has since recovered substantially and is one of the largest tokens on the chain.
The contract address
0x020bfC650A365f8BB26819deAAbF3E21291018b4 on Robinhood Chain mainnet.
Verify this yourself before using it. Copycat tokens using the CASHCAT name have appeared on Solana and other networks with no connection to the original — buying one of those is the most likely way to lose money here. Check it against the official site and verified social accounts, and never take a contract address from a DM or a reply.
Supply is a fixed 1 billion. There is no buy or sell tax, and liquidity provider tokens were burned at launch.
Route 1 — The Robinhood app
Robinhood lists CASHCAT for buying and selling directly in its crypto section. Search it, enter an amount, submit the order. No wallet, no bridge, no gas, no contract address to verify.
That's genuinely the easiest route in existence for a memecoin, and if you just want exposure with minimal friction it's hard to argue with.
What you're giving up: Robinhood holds the asset. You don't have keys, you can't move it on-chain, and you're trading inside their hours, their rules and their availability. You also can't do anything on-chain with it — no DEX pairs, no LP, no moving it to a wallet you control. Whether that matters depends entirely on what you want it for.
Availability varies by region, so it may simply not be an option depending on where you are.
Route 2 — Centralised exchanges
MEXC added a CASHCAT/USDT spot market on 8 July, and WEEX listed the following day. Same trade-off as Robinhood, slightly different shape: no wallet setup, no bridging, but the exchange custodies your coins.
Useful if you already hold funds on one of those exchanges. Less useful otherwise, since you'd be onboarding to a new platform to avoid onboarding to a wallet.
Route 3 — On-chain
This is where most CASHCAT volume actually happens, primarily through Uniswap V3 on Robinhood Chain, where the CASHCAT/WETH pair has handled the bulk of it since launch.
Set up a wallet. MetaMask, Rabby, or any EVM wallet, with Robinhood Chain added — Chain ID 4663, ETH as the gas token. Robinhood's own wallet app supports the chain natively if you'd rather skip manual configuration.
Get funds across. You need ETH on Robinhood Chain for both the swap and gas. Bridge via Relay or Across for speed, or the canonical Arbitrum Portal if you'd rather not use a third-party bridge. Bridging from Arbitrum or Base is cheaper than from Ethereum mainnet. There's a fuller walkthrough of the funding routes in our Robinhood Chain guide.
Swap. Paste the contract address into Uniswap on Robinhood Chain, set your amount and slippage, confirm. Or paste it into a trading bot if you want order types.
Send a small test amount first, whichever bridge you use.
Which route to actually pick
If you want simple exposure and don't care about self-custody, the Robinhood app is the least friction available and there's no shame in that.
If you want to actually hold the asset — keys in your name, ability to move it, ability to set limit orders and trailing stops, ability to act at 3am when the app is doing maintenance — you need to be on-chain. That's the difference: on the first two routes you own a position, on the third you own the token. There's more on why that distinction matters in what non-custodial actually means.
The risks worth knowing
Two of these you won't find on most CASHCAT pages, because most of them are exchange affiliate content.
The contract is unverified and the deployer is anonymous. Unverified means the source code hasn't been published for public inspection, so you're trusting the bytecode does what everyone assumes. Liquidity being burned and taxes being zero are meaningful positives, but an unverified contract on a $100M+ token is a real gap, and it's the kind of thing worth weighing rather than skipping past. The rest of what to check is in our rug pull checklist.
It has already done a violent round trip. A 90% drawdown from the July peak is recent history, not ancient. It was driven by early holders selling into a wave of attention, and there's nothing structurally preventing a repeat.
Its narrative depends on someone else's brand. The value here rests substantially on association with Robinhood — a company that has not endorsed the token and has no obligation to keep the chain's memecoin scene alive. That's a dependency you don't control.
Trading it with Axxel
If you're going the on-chain route, Axxel supports Robinhood Chain alongside Ethereum, Base, BSC and Solana — paste the contract, buy from Telegram, with limit orders, trailing stops and MEV protection available on the same trade. Flat 0.9%, non-custodial, so your keys stay yours.
Worth setting an exit at the same time as your entry on something with this much volatility behind it. Given what happened in July, deciding your sell number while you're calm is doing more work than any entry timing will.
Crypto trading carries risk. Most memecoins lose value. Nothing here is financial advice. Axxel is not available in all regions. CASHCAT is not affiliated with or endorsed by Robinhood Markets.
